Hospitality and HoReCa recruitment in Moldova
Need staff for a restaurant, hotel, café or catering business? ALES handles the search and initial screening so your manager can focus on interviewing relevant candidates. Our HoReCa recruitment covers operational and management roles, with the search shaped by your working hours and business requirements.
You can request recruitment for one employee or across several departments. Before the engagement begins, you will receive a proposal setting out the roles covered, selection stages and recruitment fee.
Recruitment for restaurants, hotels and other hospitality businesses
Restaurants
The menu, table service and delivery orders shape how the kitchen and front-of-house team work. Restaurant recruitment needs to account for who prepares food, who takes orders and how the team works together during busy service periods.
Hotels and guesthouses
Hotel recruitment needs to reflect reception duties, room preparation and any on-site restaurant. Room numbers, check-in and check-out times, and the services offered help determine the staffing required.
Cafés and bars
In a small team, one role may combine making drinks, taking payments and serving customers. We define these responsibilities from the outset, including opening or closing the venue and handing over the till.
Catering
Food preparation, transport and event service are distinct activities. The brief should specify where the work takes place, the period of employment and who will supervise the team at the venue.
When we can help with your hiring
We sequence the search around what the opening requires: management roles first, where needed, followed by the operational team. We allow for training time and separate the requirements for each venue. You receive a plan for specific roles rather than a broad request for “staff”.
We take on the search for a role that is holding up operations or increasing the workload for colleagues. Together, we check whether the same profile is needed or the responsibilities have changed. Initial screening focuses on the actual tasks and availability for the venue’s schedule.
For seasonal hospitality recruitment, we clarify the employment period, additional workload and availability required. We assess in advance whether we can take on the request. Supplying staff for a single shift or event is not automatically included in a recruitment assignment.
Matching the search to your venue’s hours and conditions
Before presenting candidates, we agree which conditions will be communicated during the search. Shift availability and salary expectations can then be discussed during initial screening, before your manager invests time in the final interview.
The actual working schedule
Specify start and finish times, shift patterns and weekend work. “Flexible hours” does not tell candidates when they need to be available.
Pay and its components
State the amount or range, whether it is gross or net, and the fixed component. Explain any bonuses and tips separately from basic pay.
Getting to and from the venue
The address and the ability to arrive for the first shift or get home after closing matter. Meals, transport or accommodation are mentioned only when they are provided.
Workload
The number of tables or rooms, types of order and peak periods help candidates understand the pace of work and team size.
Hospitality roles we can recruit for
Our HoReCa recruitment service can cover several functions within the same business. We confirm the roles covered in the proposal and use distinct criteria for kitchen work, guest service and venue management.

How hospitality recruitment fees are determined
The recruitment fee depends on the roles, headcount, level of responsibility and stages included. Where several types of role are involved, we clarify the scope and fee calculation separately. ALES’s fee is separate from future employees’ salaries and benefits. Payment terms and any candidate replacement arrangements are set out in the accepted proposal; replacement is not included by default.
Other industries we recruit for
Hiring for another area of your business or across several sectors? ALES plans the search around how your company operates, the roles to fill and the actual working conditions. Choose the relevant industry or send an enquiry to discuss your requirements.
Hospitality recruitment FAQs
No. You can include several roles in one enquiry. Specify the headcount for each and your priorities. The proposal separates the criteria and selection stages so kitchen candidates are not assessed against the same requirements as reception staff.
Send your enquiry once you can describe the roles, conditions and preferred start date. The schedule needs to allow for the search, interviews, candidate availability and on-site training. Timing is discussed for the specific assignment; an opening date is not automatically a guaranteed recruitment deadline.
Yes, where the responsibilities allow for on-the-job training. Specify the tasks, who will provide training and the skills needed from day one. A kitchen or service support role should not be presented as fully independent if supervision is required.
We agree interview slots that fit the venue’s operations and identify who will provide feedback. Some details can be discussed by phone or online. Assessments involving equipment or the workspace are arranged separately with the employer, and the format is explained to the candidate in advance.
You can submit an enquiry for a venue in the Republic of Moldova, specifying the town and access to the workplace. We review the conditions and confirm whether we can take on the search. Distance, shifts and any employer-provided transport need to be discussed before defining the search area.
No. Recruitment focuses on finding and selecting candidates for the employer’s roles. Supplying a team for one day, managing shifts and paying staff are separate services. Include this requirement in your enquiry so we can clarify from the outset whether we can help.
Not automatically. This page covers recruitment for hospitality roles in Moldova. International recruitment, relocation and work documentation involve a different scope and must be agreed separately before any commitment is made.
We review the situation against the accepted proposal and terms of engagement. If a replacement arrangement was agreed, the documents should specify the period, circumstances covered and steps to follow. A standard guarantee should not be assumed before those terms are agreed.
